The aim and objective of the Department of History is to train students to compete with their friends graduating from other universities in Turkey in their own fields. For this purpose, our students are informed about all fields of history from Ancient History to Modern Turkish and World History. In addition, thanks to the old Turkish (Ottoman Turkish) they learn, they have the opportunity to work in many state institutions and organizations, especially in the Presidential State Archives.
